Boarding your pet at Oak Ridge Kennels will give you peace of mind while you are on vacation. Your pet will be cared for by our trained professional kennel personnel to make sure your pet is comfortable and happy. We'll care for your pet as though it were our own. Boarding your pet is a shared responsibility. Please attend to the following before boarding your pet:

• Make certain all immunizations are current and bring in the shot records as well as any medications needed. Shots Required for Dogs—Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella; Cats—Rabies, Distemper and Rhinotracheitis.
• Do not feed your pet for at least four hours before you bring him to the kennel to minimize the possibility of stomach upset.
• Bring your pet to the kennel early enough to adjust to the setting before night.
• Provide a freshly-washed rug or towel for your pet-Optional.
• Some of your pets favorite toys - Optional.

Special Treatment for Dogs:

• Kennel runs cleaned daily
• Dogs are walked and watched carefully
• Dogs are taken out 3 or more times a day
• Dogs are individually handled and receive personal care such as petting, talking to, playing, etc.
• We will administer medications if needed, for a small daily fee
• Dogs receive top-quality food and we try to keep to your pet's feeding schedule as much as possible

Special Treatment for Cats:

• Large, roomy walk-in cages
• Resting bench for cats in each area
• Cats are individually handled and receive personal care such as petting, talking to, playing, etc.
• Cats receive top-quality food and litter
